It just occurred to me when I got another letter today about biometrics.  It stated that they are re-using the fingerprints.  I knew that already but reading the letter further it stated that they will not refund the biometrics fee.  So another $170 (two people) for the cash grab.  It does make sense to re-use something that was just taken less than two years ago but knowingly charging an extra $85 each is just robbery.  Has ANYONE had to take biometrics again for ROC in the last few years?

Did your online account update for biometrics yet, or did you just get the letter? No sign of mine yet but guessing that’s YSC in action…

They took $85 to determine your visit wasn't necessary. Some people do end up submitting biometrics even after AOS biometrics few years ago. Would you rather want to go to biometrics appointment?

I agreed I'd rather not go.  I was just curious how many actually had to go to biometrics for ROC after biometrics at POE.

But I mean did it update to show “biometrics were applied”?

They are asking about "Other Names Used" for the USC.  There is no such field for the USC on the current edition I-751 form, not on page 3 or anywhere else.

@KBCN -- No need to worry about USC's other names on the I-751.  But it would not hurt to add your wife's other names on part 11, if you want to note it for completeness/consistency with your other documentary evidence.

Just got the receipt email, saying I797C is on the way - receipt starts "MSC", which apparently indicates I'm being processed by the National Benefits Center ... which doesn't even have tracked processing times for I751s according to the USCIS site - looking around I heard this means it's grouped with "all field offices" timing, ie 32.5 months?! And a claim the change to 48 month extensions takes effect today ... presumably I'll see in a few days what actually arrives.

My green card expires march 3rd 2023, I applied Jan 2nd and it was delivered Jan 5th. I received the NOA1 today in the mail (dated 01/20/2023 )with 36 months extension. I fear my Employer may not accept the NOA1 if asked. I remembered they requested for valid documentation when my EAD(employment authorization) expired back in yr 2021, so I tendered my Green card since I had received that before my EAD got expired.

I had read somewhere that I could use SSN card + DL. My challenge is that the SSN card given to me in year 2020 had valid for work only with DHS authorization. How do I remove this restrictions?

Your advice will be well appreciated. @Rearviewmirror @OldUser @Rocio0010 @beloved_dingo @Fe.Ta @Caitlin Kennedy. To anyone with a resource/link . kindly give your input. Thanks
