We’re still waiting for our IL, DQ Jan 31st. It’s Argentina which is supposed to be one of the quicker embassies but who knows. I’m flying down to be there during the interview so I hope to hear this week 🤞🏻

I got DQ the day before you, and Germany is also supposed to be a faster country as well. I don't have more than a guestimate from the posts I've seen recently, but it looks like it takes 3-4 weeks to get the IL. I'm hoping we get it this week. 

 

Does 3-4 weeks seem right to everyone else based on what you've seen?

I've been waiting for my IL since January 21st so a month now. It would be at the Guayaquil-Ecuador embassy. How long is the usual time people wait?

We got our interview date today for end of April in Frankfurt. This is much later than we were expecting, so my husband is contacting them to see if they can change it to an earlier date.

We got our interview rescheduled to next Tuesday. Rescheduling was simple and it seems there was a lot of availability. I'm grateful, but it makes me wonder why the NVC just randomly assigned us to a date end of April when we could've gotten something 1.5 months earlier?

We finally have an interview date for April 5th. Can't believe we're only weeks away from being finished! Congrats to everyone who have issued visas!

it looks like the new "norm" is 5 month wait for IR1/CR1 immediate relative category across the Board.  There were about a dozen or people that I know of in a whatsapp group (for those waiting for Dominican Republic) that received their IL for end of April thru end of May (they were DQ'd Sept/Oct 2022).  This is good!  I hope to hear something next April/May, but you never know if sooner.  Congrats to those that received their IL already and continued prayers for us that are still waiting <3.
