So I uploaded those documents last year but I he has the documents from 2022 with him, he’s gonna bring them to the interview, I didn’t upload anything. I was under the impression that he has to bring the documents physically.

You should upload as well

Okay I'll get it together. When is your interview? Don't upload anything unless you have your date or it will look like new submission and your don't  want to reset your time waiting 🙏🏽

The 13th of October

okay good. make sure you have uploaded the following:

--2022 tax transcripts or 2022 Tax Return & W2 related to sponsor(s) (I also had a letter from my employer proving I am still an employee and a the 3-4 most recent pay stubs)

--police report (carta de buena conducta); do it a few days before interview so it's the most current

--proof of relationship (here is a list of what I uploaded):

  • bank accounts, home/apt (rent/lease, if you have one together) -- I DIDNT HAVE ANY OF THESE, BUT I SUBMITTED THESE ITEMS BELOW:
  • proof of money transfers (e.g. Western Union (you can download spreadsheets online);
  • pictures of us together, when we got engaged, when we got married at Civil Court (we didn't do a wedding), pics with family and friends,
  • RECEIPTS from your trips together, gifts to each other, etc.
  • I also had added my hubby as an authorized user to a few of my credit cards so I submitted that proof

All of this will help.  They will look for this info. The only thing they asked as the interview was for the pictures and I had a full album of our 4.5 years together.

OH and if you have any changes, like name or address, you have to ask NVC to open up the DS-260 again so you can make those changes.  If you have sponsor changes, you have to submit a new I-864.

For interview - applicant must bring *:

Original (inextensa) birth certificate

Passport

Confirmation of appointment interview letter

DS-260 receipt page

(Petitioner bring his/her passport and ID)

and all originals of everything you uploaded

*you will need the same for your biometrics/fingerprints and medical exams.

Good luck!
