Finally approved and now waiting for the next steps in our process. Any advice or things to look out for?

Petitioner will get an email from NVC with the case number. With that you can submit the DS-160, but you can start on that while waiting. afterwards the beneficiary should receive a package mailed to them. NVC sometimes takes a while. We had to read out after a month to get a status update. Then a week later we got the email. Congratulations and happy new year.

How long does it take usually to receive the approval notice in the mail

Just want to confirm I got the k1 ftp letter saying it’s going to the embassy. So the bene will be notified or I will or just keep checking for the case status? Should we start doing anything right now?

Start filling out the DS-160 form. Along with getting both your financial information ready.
