Looks good to me. I would maybe put the grant/mortgage stuff more up front (maybe before the bank accounts?). I know they presumably read it all, but that's "strong" evidence so maybe good to have it up front? Otherwise your package looks like ours. Only thing I didn't see is driving licenses showing your joint address?

I assume you're including a cover letter and the G1145 for e-notification and your $680 check?

Nice approach! I'll put the grant/mortgage stuff more upfront. 🙂
and I'm including a cover letter with G1145 and G-1450 (credit card payment form). Due to COVID, our driver licenses still show our previous address. that's why I didn't put driver licenses in our packages. I really appreciate your time and help! ❤️

c.    Copy of Drivers Licenses

2)    Tax Return Transcripts & Leases
a.    Tax Return Transcripts – Married Filing Jointly (2020 & 2021)
b.    Joint leases (2018 – Present)

3)    Bank Statements and Beneficiary of Retirement/Investment Accounts:
a.    Bank Statements - Joint Checking and Savings Accounts (2020-2022)

Which state are you in? Not sure why COVID is a problem? At least in California there are no issues renewing or changing driver's license. I updated mine in first half of 2021(more than a year ago) just fine.

Received the SMS from USCIS this morning. I am assigned to YSC. See you all in 2 years I guess 😅

I’ll be in the same boat in approximately one month. I’m hoping we might also benefit from a magical one month approval 😆

Ugh. When I set our utilities up when we purchased our home I listed both of our names but ALL of the bills have either my name OR my husbands name. Not both. I am so disappointed because this was going to help with our application and now I am stressed we are going to have some issues. I guess it is good some are under mine and some his same address so I can say we share the load but.. :(

I wouldn't worry - the address is the same, you're clearly cohabiting. They're looking for evidence of a shared life, not worried who is paying for Netflix :)

Thanks! I always get so anxious about this stuff as I don't wanna be separated from my family. Also can't find my W2 but everything else is done.

Not having finance comingling may have a big affect on your case, that's not great, it can be a big red flag. Was there a legitimate reason why you didn't comingle finances?

Do you share anything? E.g. lease, insurances, travel together?

Can you at least open joint bank account now?

We split expenses between ourselves. Like utilities, bills, etc going from one account and lease payment going from the other account. We do have car insurance together, joint tax returns, and travel together.
