An update on my timeline,  it was updated today as fingerprints have been taken, didn't receive any txt or email about it. Hopefully things keep moving fast.

Just received our text message!!! I’m pretty sure we got Texas (SRC prefix),which I’m surprised by since we are CR1; I was expecting NBC. Hopefully that means we can be part of the “risk-based” approach and have the interview waived. I sent enough evidence for it, that’s for sure lol!

To recap:

12/24/2022: 90 day window opened

12/27/2022: Sent via USPS to Phoenix Lockbox

12/29/2022: Delivered

12/30/2022: case marked as “received” when I track the number

01/05/2023: text message received, money order not cashed yet

I am hoping we don't have an interview either.. But our green card interview was waived and apparently they like to do at least one.

I think our interview is pretty much inevitable, but I’m hoping we’ll get lucky! We’re CR1 and haven’t had an interview with USCIS directly yet, just the one at the embassy. I’ll be pretty surprised if ours is waived, but still hopeful I guess🤷🏻‍♀️

Same. We had the initial at the embassy in my home country and nothing since. We are K1 and K2. I think our AOS petition was solid. Now I am currently pregnant with our second child which I think is proof enough lol.

Congratulations! Yes, do include your first kid's birth certificate with both of parent's names on it. Could also include second child's BC after birth 🙂

I included that and I also included a letter from my OBGYN stating I am currently pregnant with a scan. I know the second item doesn't hold much weight as it doesn't have my husbands name on it but I love to supply as much as I can!

I mailed my packet on Dec 27th, received notice of receipt on Jan 4th and got NOA today in the mail.

I need to travel overseas for an urgent matter and I am wondering how far is Biometrics appointment timed from NOA letter? If it's too close then I can wait for it before travelling.

Moreover, if biometrics are being re-used then is it mentioned in the NOA or a separate letter?

Separate appointment letter. For some folks biometrics will be 4-6 weeks, others it'll be 12 months plus - and then plenty get "biometrics reused". It's kind of hard to tell as every case is different. Some extremely unlucky folks then get notified that biometrics will be re-used, and then still get appointment letters.

Ok, I was annoyed and impatient before but now I'm starting to get anxious as I see all these people posting about getting their NOA1.

We sent our package on 12/17, they got it 12/19 and we got the text and card charged 12/22-23.

Still no NOA1.  Has anyone not gotten the hard copy NOA1 in a previous step of this process? How long should I wait until I reach out to them to ask about this?

It can take up to 6 weeks to receive NOA.

Thank you! So if we don't receive it after 6 weeks, we can file an inquiry of some kind?
