Two questions:

Did you all put N/A in every blank section? I know it was a HUGE thing when I applied for AOS that we had to or we would get rejected. Is this still a thing?

Anyone else filing with a K2?

Thanks!

I did. I was advised to do it.

Hi everyone!

My spouse and I co-filed I-751 with both G-1450 for credit card payments and the other one for email and SMS notifications. In our package, we included:

1.    Copy of my green card.

2.    USCIS Change of Address request confirmation.

3.    Lease for our apartment.

4.    Renewal for lease.

5.    Joint credit card statement.

6.    Federal and State joint tax return for 2020.

7.    Federal and State joint tax return for 2021.

8.    Utility bill for the shared unit.

9.    Joint homeowner insurance policy.

10.   Itinerary for last international trip together.

11. Document providing photographic evidence of different family and social occasions, from 2020 to 2022 (around 20 color pictures).

12 to 15. Four affidavits of support with corresponding IDs.

November 30th, 2022 - We sent the package on UPS 2-day delivery to the Phoenix, AZ lockbox.

December 2nd, 2022 - Delivered to the Phoenix AZ lockbox.

December 6th, 2022 - Got SMS with confirmation of receipt of the forms, and case number.

Will update as things move forward. Good luck everyone!

My timeline so far has been this one:

November 30th, 2022 - We sent the package on UPS 2-day delivery to the Phoenix, AZ lockbox.

December 2nd, 2022 - Delivered to the Phoenix AZ lockbox.

December 5th, 2022 - USCIS charged my card.

December 6th, 2022 - Got SMS with confirmation of receipt of the forms, and case number.

December 9th, 2022 - Got my I-797 in the mail. 24 month extension and assigned to Potomac service center.

What's missing from what?

Did you look at my list on the other thread? I'm confused what you are replying to here, haha.

But to answer your question: we do live together - but I bought my home before he was in the picture and I don't have a lender/mortgage. We will send our driver's licenses that show shared address, mail to both of us at our address, and utility bills for our address in both of our names.

I am pretty sure I got rejected during AOS the first time for not having N/A everywhere so I'm paranoid now and put it on every blank section this time right off the bat!

How long did it take to get aos approved for you? Since first filling.

Omg I forgot to put na in our 751, they accepted it and charged the cc. I hope they just will send rfe for new form filled correctly. I have seen that in other threads here

For AOS? Just about one year exactly.  I first sent in my application in Mid March 2020, it got rejected twice (once because of that weird 944 form and once, I think, because of the N/A thing), and I sent it the third time in April and it got accepted.  My husband got approved for conditional green card in March 2021 - and here we are getting ready for March 2023 when it expires!

Thank you. For n/a, did they charge you fee and then reject? Or just sent everything back, didn't touch your money?

They charged my card and sent me the noa extension and case updated as fingerprints were taken.

Hi all! Our 90-day window opens up on Christmas Eve, but we will be mailing our packet on December 26. For some context, are CR1 so we did not do AOS and obviously did not have an interview with USCIS. We married in July 2020 and filed I-130 shortly after. My husband entered in March 2021 and received his green card in June 2021.

Here is the evidence we are providing:

  • Money order for $680
  • Table of Contents
  • G-1145
  • I-751 (with N/A written in ALL blank spots)
  • Front and back of green card
  • The "tear-off portion to speed your application" sheet from the green card package
  • I-797C, Form I-751 reminder
  • Certified copy of Marriage Certificate
  • Joint Identification Documents including:
    • Foreign spouse's passport bio page/stamps/visa
    • USC spouse's passport bio page/stamps (x2 since name change)
    • Both driver's licenses showing same address
    • Both conceal carry permits showing same address
    • Social security cards
    • Social Security name change application after marriage
  • Joint lease agreements from 2020-2023
  • Joint Financial Documents including:
    • Copy of voided check naming both spouses
    • Joint Checking AND Savings account statements dated 2020-2022
    • Credit card authorized user confirmations (x3)
    • Letters from various investment accounts confirming joint accounts/beneficiaries
  • Joint Property Documents including:
    • Mobile home title and bill of sale
    • Car titles and bills of sale
    • Registration renewal pages and stickers for cars and mobile home
  • Joint Utilities including:
    • Joint water and electricity bills from 2021-2022 (foreign spouse couldn't be added until he received green card due to policies; this is noted in evidence)
    • Cell phone bills and call history highlighting phone calls to each other
    • Storage unit bills
    • PO Box application form
  • Joint Insurance Documents including:
    • Joint home insurance
    • Joint renters insurance
    • Life insurance polices for both spouses, naming each other as beneficiary
    • Car insurance naming both spouses, dated 2020-2023
    • Joint health insurance and related documents (primary care physician, etc)
  • Joint College/Work Documents including:
    • Emergency contact forms
    • ACT results showing we took the exam on the same day
    • Scholarship awards from the same university, showing the same address
    • Financial aid checks showing same address
  • 2020-2022 tax documents (have not filed 2023 yet)
  • Joint Travel Documents including:
    • Foreign spouse's most recent I-94
    • Plane tickets dating 2018-current
    • USC spouse's passenger locator form for the UK
    • Hotel itineraries
    • Train tickets
    • Tour bookings
  • Letters and shipping labels to and from family members
  • Photographs and social media posts from 2017-current, including captions

Please let me know if there is anything else you would recommend. I am also going to have a couple family members write up an affidavit. I am thinking of writing a quick recap of our entire relationship from 2016-now.

Best of luck to everyone, wishing you all very speedy processing times!!!!

They did not charge me a fee - they sent the whole thing right back. So I think you're all good!!!

So happy to hear that!!! I've been worried that it's not enough 😆

If yours isn't enough, I'm utterly SCREWED!

The only thing we have going for us that you don't (and we don't have MANY of the things on your list!) is that we had a baby! Hoping that carries some weight here lol

I hope so, I think it is more efficient just to send an RFE for a new form filled correctly than send 3 lb back. Money money.
