Hey guys happy holidays hope everyone doing well.

My window for filling 400 opened last year but due to covid and other financial burdens, wasn't able 2 apply and had to wait for a year 2 apply.

Am applying 4 my N400 now filled out everything necessary. My question do have 2 submit all the evidence there requesting or can just bring them with me on the day of the interview? it does say u can. But am worried will it slow the process. Cause it is a lot 2 scan everything.

It's been another year so the new evidence would be a 2021 tax transcript.

It is faster to file online and it is faster to have all the evidence.

There is no requirement to ever naturalize. If you really wanted to, you could never apply for N-400 and live entire life in the US as a green card holder.

So

1. You are not late

2. It's always best to provide as much good quality evidence upfront to avoid RFE

3. You can take your time, no need to rush to apply. Prepare everything, scan evidence etc. Review forms carefully and then submit.

Good luck!

Thank you so much appreciate

Are you applying under the 3 year rule or 5 year rule?

I would show one statement from each joint account for each quarter during the 3 year period of marital union and one statement for each of the  past three months to show evidence of 3 month residency in your state

Also I don’t know about your bank but my bank has online PDF statements.  Nothing to print / scan. The PDFs just get downloaded to your desktop computer and uploaded to USCIS.

Yeah 3 year rule

By the way, you might be eligible to apply under 5 year rule sometime next year, I suspect. It requires fewer things to submit and you do not need to reprove marriage on the same level as for filing under 3 year rule.

Whether you are married or not, you can apply under 5 year rule. That's when you lived in the US for 5 years as LPR. You gotta have 10 year green card for that.

I have the 10 year green card
