hi am here in the U.S about a week ,,, i wanted to know if what should i do in order that can i have SSN ? my husband says we need to go and get SSN , i just wondering caz i put in ds230 that no then administrative will assign my ssn ? do u have idea how long should i receive SSN? i want to find job i am in texas , please shared ur idea how to find job here ...

With CR-1/IR-1 you do have the option to get the SSN automatically assigned. If you don't receive it within the next couple weeks, give a call to your local SSA office.

You can start looking for work right away, you can start with without an ssn as long as you have applied for it. Which you have if you have specified so on the DS-230.

As far as finding jobs, it depends in what fields you have skills. But unlike some other countries, most people find their jobs through networking, which may not be possible starting out. You can try temp agencies, job banks, look in the newspaper, monster, and so on.
