Hi. I'm not sure about this, please tell me.

I am the beneficiary. I download G-325A form from USCIS web site, and there are 4 identical pages. Does it mean 4 pages for my fiance and 4 pages for me too to fill out?

Is it ok if I fill out the form, sign it and scan it and send to my fiance through email, is that ok? Just in case we have a problem on that form so we don't need to send by post.

Thank you very much.

Four identical copies for each person - the petitioner and beneficiary. Original signatures required for each -- not scanned copies.

7. G-325A (all four pages) filled out by the US Citizen signed and dated (see example)

9. G-325A (all four pages) filled out by the foreign fiance(e) signed and dated (see example)

Fill in page 1 of the G-325a form on the computer and then print the entire document. The 4 copies of the form will print out with the information automatically filled in from the first page that you typed in. Sign and date each of those 4 pages and send via mail to your fiance for filing. He will do the same for his 4 signed copies. Original signatures are required.

Warm Regards,

We did something similar to what you're asking. I faxed the completed forms to my fiancee (everything was filled except the signature), he signed them, and then scanned them and returned them to me via e-mail. It was a last resort. I had mailed the forms to him and a month later he still didn't have them. Anyway, we didn't have any problems. I was very careful to make sure USCIS knew the forms were faxed& scanned; I provided a copy of the fax cover sheet, the fax reciept from Staples, the e-mail where my fiancee scanned is back to me, and a copy of this form http://www.visajourney.com/examples/FC-029.pdf stating that we can submit copies, but we understand originals could be provided at the interview. Just a note I faxed all the forms he had to sign, letter of intent, G-325A (I think thats it, its been a little while). Anyway, it took a little extra time to organize maybe 15-20 minutes, but I included the fax/scann evidence for each form that was fax/scanned (I wasn't sure if the application would be broken up).

Anyway, I hope I was clear. If you have an questions ask away. It worked for us. My fiancee did bring original copies to his visa interview; he was never asked about them. He got the visa, we're married, and filed for AOS...so I say its okay to do. I knew it was a little risky when I did it but I reasoned that a fax/scan is just a copy printed on a different printer, and if USCIS accepts copies, why not?

No offense, if you break the laws then you have to live with the consequences. You're lucky that you have the possibility to use a waiver, but generally speaking this is what everybody deserves for staying illegally.

If you look at the G325a exactly you will see numbers at the bottom left corner (1-4). Yes they all are the same but all 4 have to be filled in (Print with a black pen or fill out over the Pc).

You will need orig. signiture´s.

Read the guides here on VJ,it is discribed there better.

Thank you all for answering my question. I am confused again of this one: http://www.visajourney.com/examples/FC-029.pdf. It says there about 'copies of documents submitted.... required to submit the originals... It is the same statement in the cover letter, right?, does my fiance need to sign that form or he just have to omit that statement in the cover letter? Please advice. Thanks a lot!

For that form the only signature on it was mine (the US Citizen). Yes, it is the same statement that is in the coverletter. I included it with each faxed/scanned form as well because I didn't know how the case would be reviewed..if one and only one person looked at it, if it was separated then put back together. I did it to make it easier for whoever was reading it and in hopes of reducing the chances for an RFE (we did not get a RFE). Just want to be clear, this might be a little risky...what I did was not "by the book" but it did work out in my case.

Good luck deciding!

OK, thanks again. What about passport size pictures, do I have to show my ears.

I-129F has Part 3 pages, how many copies my fiance need to fill out?

Yep the pics are 5cmx5cm have to show your ears (you cant wear any earrings). I would take that picture for later though as it is only valid for 6 months and needed for the pack 3. For the I129F pack you can take a regular passport styple picture (this is described in the instructions of the I129F by the way).

Your Fiance needs to fill in all pages of the I129F and should make copies of everything before it is mailed.

Once you have completed your I-129-F, you would be doing yourself a great service by making a few extra copies of everything, because you never know what may get lost or misplaced along the way or at Embassy level. It is always good to have back up of everything, plus you would want your fiance to take along a complete copy of the petition with her to the interview.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
