@KeithMontage Hi, hope your interview went well. Mine went well and currently waiting to receive passport back.

@Surulere Hello, congratulations on your successful interview, and hopefully you will have your passport with visa soon.

I am also EB2-NIW and will interview in Ankara, and at NVC documents stage. Can you share a summary of how your interview went? Were you asked about job or employment offers in the US? I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks

@KeithMontage I have taken time to read this thread and I must commend your efforts and those of other guys for the information sharing. I am at NVC documents sending stage (EB2-NIW) and will interview in Ankara, Turkey. I like to ask what are the possible reasons why those other people were denied as you noted. Were they employment or family based? Thanks.

It was pretty hard to hear everything, but one was a fiance to an american lady and there wasnt enough evidence to support that

Thanks @Damiores I was asked about my qualifications, the kind of work I do, US travel history, if I have a job offer (not a requirement to have a job offer, but will be good to start applying to jobs), what I plan to do in the US, where I plan to stay.
Be sure to go with your CV, and in my case I went with my Google scholar page to show my publications.
Some of the visa officers are not familiar with NIW category so be sure to go through your I140 petition and be familiar with it.
It wasn't anything tricky and you should be able to answers the Qs asked easily. Hope this helps.

@Surulere Thanks for your reply. Sorry for being too personal. Did you have a job offer waiting or just proof of job applications. Any idea of wait times in Ankara?
