This post is for those who submitted an N400 (especially if you did it online)  within the last 6 or so months and, like us, are in the Boston area and will be processed out of the Boston field office.

Has anyone seen any movement yet?  In particular, anyone receive a letter with an interview date?

I ran some reports here on VJ but not sure how comprehensive the results are as not everybody maintains a VJ timeline.

Thanks in advance for any intel you may have on this matter.

This office appears to be moving slowly as of late. Or at least the timelines on this website show interview velocity greatly slowing in the second half of 2022. I just want to be done lol

@Bob in Boston - I filed in May 2022.

Had the same same day biometrics reuse that @rebnoe describes.

Still no movement over here... what about you @Robbernosky

Filed June 2022.Biometrics applied.Counted down to zero,no movement .

751 never scheduled,been in process since 2021.Was told it is in NBC vault and would be requested to be pulled when the boston office is ready to schedule and both would be done.

I thought it needs to be out of the vault first before Boston can schedule??

It appears first in first out doesn't apply. This is extremely frustrating, why isn't this agency funded to handle these applications in a timely fashion, the politicians of this country need to do better.

Sad and frustrated in Massachusetts

I am a late March 2022 filer-and still nothing. Not even a letter to attend interview. I reached out to a) the senator b)district representative and c)filed a FOIA ...and still nada. The senator inquired on my behalf twice--once at the 8 months mark and once at the 12 months mark--again, nada. I pointed out that I am outside of the 12 months mark (as per Boston processing times). Yet, apparently I need to wait till November 2023 to escalate it--to say I am fuming is an understatement.

I hear you! Boston office is so delayed for many people. It is frustrating to hear about so many people being approved in 4 months and not understand why your own case is so delayed. We have been waiting since August 2022, and everybody who was in the citizenship study class with us is already approved.
