Does it matter which one is filled out first on ceac? I finished my i864 form. before the ds260. i am about to start the ds260 form now. I was told that the ds260 had to be uploaded first. Is this true?

You must complete the DS-260 and upload all required documents (financial support and civil documents) to be able to move to Submitted status.  NVC will not review any of your documents until every requirement has been submitted.

Are you sure you completely submitted them?  Is there a "submit" button?

You need to submit both Civil documents and AOS documents by clicking on the submit button. Then your wait starts.

Case status will not change until your documents get reviewed by the NVC.

Oh ok so i wont know anything until they start reviewing my docs? So i guess i will continue to see "documents not submitted" until they start their review? And until I finish that ds260.

Exactly. It only recognised that we have submitted our documents after we got DQ.

What is meant by "civil documents?" when NVC ask for civil documents what does this mean? Can somebody give me an example of a civil document? And also how often should i check my ceac acct.
