My husband has his interview on Nov 9th. He was given a DS-5535 and its been two weeks with no respond.

Unfortunately, receiving the DS-5535 can be the beginning of an extended wait time.  At this point, all you can do is wait and hope for the best.

I emailed the embassy after two week since I’m in Colombia. And they asked me to resend the file as an excel document. I’ve sent it two days ago, hopefully I get somewhat of an answer in the next few days.
