Use a search engine to search for the phrase

“travel insurance”

If she has paid for any portion of her travel bookings, preexisting conditions  are likely not covered.

Make sure the plan includes an air evacuation.

Where I come from adverts for Travel Insurance are everywhere.

Existing health conditions?

Hi all,

Hope all doing well,  wish if the community can help me.

Mother coming to visit with tourist visa ,she is old and looking for best opportunity to cover her health issues when she is here

Any advice will be much appreciated

Travel insurance for the unexpected health care expenses

Private self-pay for pre-existing conditions, most likely.

the only option is the Travel insurance but as mentioned above it does not cover pre existing condition. So there are no great options for health coverage as the travel insurances will usually try to pin a lot of the medical charges on a preexisting condition especially for the elder people. the only thing she can do is make sure to have a good travel insurance, bring all the prescriptions in advance for the period she is planning to stay for. there are some travel insurance plans from imglobal that are expensive but seem to be decent

Travel insurance will cover emergencies.

Routine health needs should be taken care of before and after the visit.

Hopefully she is truly coming with the intention to return home.  If you want to bring her to live here, you need to do it the right way and petition her for an immigrant visa.  Otherwise, she will be lying to CBP.
