Thank you all for the encouraging words :) Will keep on keeping my fingers crossed that we are nearing the end of this wait!

Hey! I’m sorry you’ve been waiting this long!
I’m German and also still waiting for IL from Frankfurt, however I got DQ later than you, on 9/22/22.

everyone keeps saying Frankfurt isn’t busy, which makes the wait feel even longer - I check my email and junk folder soooo many times a day.
my case status also still shows “at NVC

I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you as well! :)

Hope both of you get your ILs soon :) One gets impatient towards the end.... We just got DQ'd this weekend and expect an IL in January.

That’s exactly what I thought….
I also already emailed the consulate, they responded super quick, but said they can’t do anything until they have received the application from NVC🙁

Sounds like this is an NVC level issue, not embassy level.
have you tried contacting NVC to ask why it hasn’t been sent to the embassy yet? @Aberdeer, this might be a good option for you as well.

I haven’t yet, because NVC takes a long time (Multiple weeks) to respond to inquiries and I was hoping to receive the IL before the inquiry is even responded to :D

i also felt bad for making a possibly unnecessary inquiry, because that just adds to NVCs workload and makes everyone’s requests take longer to receive a response.

but I guess I’ll just go head and submit one, since it doesn’t seem to be normal to wait this long for a Frankfurt 🤷‍♀️

Omg!!!

we just got our Interview Letter from NVC 10 minutes ago!
we actually did send an inquiry to nvc yesterday, but that probably didn’t have anything to do with getting the IL.
my Interview will be January 5 2023
