Filing I-130 Online

Hello,

As expected, my parents did not pass their tourist visa interview because of lack of ties to their home country. So, we decided to file an I-130 instead.

I filed the petitions online and submitted the documents required (birth certificates, marriage certificates, naturalization certificates, passports). Do I need to file a sponsorship form as well? I did not see it on the required documents. If I do, can I still submit those even if the I-130 is already in?

Edit: I am a citizen already.

thank you!

You will not file I-864 for each parent until the NVC stage. This is after I-130 is approved.  Do not proceed with NVC stage until both I-130s are approved unless they are ok with coming to America at separate dates.

Thank you! That makes more sense now.
