St Lukes gave my gal docs that are going to expire in 3 days. We will NEVER get them filled out and turned in by then. Her appointment is Sept. 5. All her paperwork will have long EXPIRED!!!!!!!!!!!

Im telling you these agencies set you up to -------------FAIL!!

St LUkes doesn't give anything to fill out other than the PDS unless it's related to her medical condition.

What agency are you talking about?

Perhaps, his lady got her Appointment Packet at Counter F in SLEC. Are you referring to the DS forms attached in the packet? I noticed that they have an expiration date of 07/31/2007. If yes, do not have to worry. YOu can always fill out the DS-156 online or download the latest forms directly from the USCIS website when her interview date comes nearer.

I called the embassy and asked if she could pick up the packet 4. They said yes and go to St Lukes to pick them up.

I asked my gal to read me the dates top right of all the forms. Expire 7/07

Lots of luck turning in expired forms. Think you will pass that interview?

I don't think that people are that stupid NOT to notice the expiration date. If the forms are expired, there is always a way to acquire a new one.

Well some people will miss that. My gal missed it. Go try and find the new ones. I looked they dont exist.

Pretty bad attitude over a warning to others to watch out. Only one of the 5 forms on Gov site has an 08 date.

Lots of people doing this dont come to VJ and they might miss it. Without VJ I would have made tons of mistakes.

They dont make it easy. No notifications, no email, outdated forms, no packet 4, no appointments, no nothing!

Bottom line they are handing out forms that you turn in 1.5 months from now that expire in 1 week. Not much value in that is there? Some poor couple will turn them in and get their interview delayed or denied.

You can download the same expired docs. I doubt you will get the packet 4 in time if at all. Watch out for the dates.

Download and open the 156k it expires in 1 week.

St. Luke's appointment packet is from USEM. They don't have the forms and the packets at their clinic/office. USEM forwards the packets to SLEC for those applicants who are requesting for a packet pick-up so they can have the "appointment letter". I think the forms that said expiry in 7/07 is due the fee increase effective July 30, 2007 (7/30/07) and they (USCIS) will be having new forms to accompany those fee increase. You can always download new and updated forms on-line if that is the case (before the interview). Good luck!

 ditto!

when you requested it from SLEC, SLEC also requested it for you from USEM... im sure they will revise the form by next month or if not, call them and inquire to ease your mind (esp in this frustrating process)...

I have read on several posts either on this or other forums, the dates on the forms is for the approval from when they were first revised. They are still good until they issue the new forms even if the date is past.

Seems like this came up when I was filling out the bio forms for the initial I-30 application.

I could be wrong, but I think there is nothing to worry about as long as you fill everything out correctly.
