Nationality for Hong Kong Passport Holder?

I'm filing 130 and 864 for my wife right now. However, I'm having a question rn (maybe it's a stupid question)

My wife holds Hong Kong SAR passport, which is different from mainland Chinese passport. But I am wondering for the nationality on the forms, should I put "Hong Kong SAR" or simply just "China"?

I know that cuz CR1 has no quota so it doesn't really bother anyways but just want to make more accurate for the USCIS to process.

Thanks!

An I-864 will not be needed until the NVC stage.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

If Hong Kong has its separate page in reciprocity and civil documents (nvc.state.gov/find) apart from China, I would write Hong Kong. If not, I would write China.

Thanks a lot!

Hong Kong is, indeed, listed separately with document reciprocity.

Hong Kong (state.gov)

Thanks for the heads up, but I would like to know it beforehand

Same answer is needed on the I-130.  Answer is Hong Kong SAR
