My wife and daughter arrived last November and we are now going to file their AOS. But when we went to the CIS office we were told they needed to get a new medical exam for both of them. I told the CIS lady that they still had valid medical exam from abroad but she said they still need to get an exam here in the US. I just checked the pinned item here on AOS and it states that they just need the supplement I693 to transfer the info on the foreign medical exam. My question is do they really need a new medical exam even if their current one doesn't expire until November this year? BTW we still have the DS-3025 and the Xrays. Please help I'd like to get this over with before the price increase.

Hi! My son and I also got here on K3/K4 visas. What we did was we had our vaccination worksheet (DS 3025)transferred to the I-693 vaccination supplement form (the Civil Surgeon already had the form). We also needed to get TD (tetanus-diptheria) shots because it was not available at St. Luke's when we had our medical exam in Manila. The cost of our TD shot was $30 each, and the transfer cost $25 each. Our civil surgeon placed the supplemental form in a sealed envelope and signed it. I also thought that the medical results were valid for a period of one year, though Im not so sure.
