DG didn't have their Thanksgiving ad (only the weekly) in the store, and I'd left mine at home.  Anyway, they had only 2 quarts of what I was sure of, and I didn't want to lug 6 quarts of the other to the register only to be thwarted (cool word).

In better answer to my gas costs, just filled (half a tank) at Sunoco ($2.67/gal. less 0.10/gal. if their credit card is used = 8.723 gal.) = $22.50.

 

Further shopping report:  Went back to Dollar General to use their $5-off-$25 coupon from last visit; jug of cat litter, toucans of beef stew, box of granola bars for Mini-B. = ~$22.  Got another $5-off-$25 coupon for next Saturday.

My Cyber Monday find was buying something from Kohls on Friday, and rolling over to enough cashback to get lots of free stuff. Walked in the store at 9pm (to avoid crowds), and walked out 40 mins later with a basket of free. Cashier looked annoyed. Also realizing that my husband's best friend gave us a very generous gift card that paid for an enormous amount of presents elsewhere.
