Hi Everyone,

Finally after 2 years of waiting i finally received the NVC email which contains the interview date & time. In the email there is hyperlink where i should go and check all required documents and staff prior to my spouse & Son's interview which is supposedly to be next January 30th 2023.

The interview will take place in Cairo, Egypt and when going through the Pre-Interview detailed checklist https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/CRO-Cairo.html#pre_interview_checklist there is a sentence saying "For family-based visa applications:" and it is followed by instructions to bring Form I-864 Affidavit of Support, domicile status and evidence of relationship while it is clearly stated in the main instructions page https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-10-prepare-for-the-interview.html that "Every visa applicant, no matter their age, must bring certain documents to the interview, including photographs, and the original or certified copy version of all civil documents submitted to NVC. You do not need to bring your Affidavit of Support or financial evidence you submitted to NVC."

So i am really confused whether if i should bring these staff or no ?!

There general requirements which may be overridden by Consulate specific requirements. Where there is a difference, follow the consulate specific instructions
