Even though he does one filing , he does argue both …,and best you can do is call around.
But most want hefty retainers to take over .and you are almost at the end , so it’s a tough spot

Many lawyers didn’t want to take the case and the one who want to take it usually charge minimum $2,000

Since my i-485 administratively closed now. What effect would it have on my EAD? Will it still be active?

If your I-765 is C09 ( based on I-485) then apply for I-765 based on approved VAWA , I think C31 . ..you can ask for a fee waiver if times are tough and keep renewing however long it takes.

Unfortunately there’s no site to track the motion. Did the lawyer already filed the motion? Usually the lawyer can call the court / judge’s clerk and ask for the update

my lawyer he suppose to file it today. I will follow up on him if he had done it yet.

You should ask him very nicely for a copy of the motion filed with the court. He should have already given you a copy , but most ignore that little responsibility.

I can find the list of the specific judge’s clerk that u can try to call ( not a good idea to call now obviously). They might or might not want to response to your question regarding to the status but u can always try

@Family @Misscloud and other.

lets says DHS dismiss my case in 2 weeks then do i have to wait for judge to give me hearing? Since i do not have court date and my close is administratively closed. I am trying to understand each step and the process.

U most likely will get master calendar hearing and DHS might said not oppose before the hearing date or on the day. Then the judge will terminate ur case if it’s the case
