Case number from nvc

Hi guys I have a question hopefully someone can help if they had similar situation

 

I filed for my both parents at the same time they both got approved at the same days and case was transferred for department of state on October 29th 2022  2 days later I got a email for my father case creation number from the nvc but nothing for my mother yet Is that normal 

 

Other question are they sending me email only or I'll get something in the mail too

Your mother will get her welcome letter soon, just give it a few days.

 

Only email.

Frustrating of course. But you can only submit an inquiry about it after they have skipped her “Case Was Sent To Department Of State” date according to “Case Creation” NVC Timeframes. Does it say the case was sent to DOS on your USCIS account?

Yah that's weird because my dad got his eight away I feel like they don't use thr time frames 

I already did sent inquiry last week in case they sent something and I didn't received because it'll take them a month to respond so by the time they respond it'll be 45 days lol

They don’t really use the case creation timeframes except to let you know when you’re allowed to inquire about why you haven’t gotten a welcome letter yet.
