Where Is the Defense of Tim Walz From Those Who Served With Him?

 

You can tell when someone really nails a politician by the way no one tries to defend them.  Most consultants will tell you that you shouldn't let an attack go unanswered, but those are generally false attacks.  When someone really rhetorically punches a candidate in the nose, the guilty slink away and hope the issue fades.  If that candidate is attacked unfairly, the airwaves are flooded with friends and colleagues, provided by the campaign, to defend them.  That no such defense of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has been forthcoming on his stolen valor allegations.

 

Think about it, have you seen any of the soldiers who served with or under Walz, who I affectionately call "Fraudie Murphy," during his time in the National Guard, especially the end of his career when he abandoned his troops and took a demotion to avoid deploying to Iraq, come to his defense?  I have not.

 

I have seen plenty of people who served with him supporting the allegations – he must not have been a very popular leader – but nothing in the other direction.  That's not a coincidence.  [...]

This time they rigged the primaries so that the only realistic choice was Joe Biden. It was only when it became obvious that he was incapable of running even as a figurehead and would drag down every other Democrat on the ballot, that the Democrat elites forced him out and replaced him with the selected candidate. The DNC didn’t even try to use a democratic method of selection to replace him. They bet on their supporters not actually caring about the definition of democracy - and they were right.

 

My hope is that the overall voting public think - and vote - differently.

Odd that Republicans keep complaining about the current Democrat nominee …the Democrats are just fine with their candidate and how she attained the position.

Tim Walz Is Just Like You and Me — If You and I Have Friends Who Love Hamas

 

The marketing campaign is in high gear.  Tim Walz should be our vice president, our self-appointed moral superiors inform us because he is a guy just like you and me and the fellow grilling hamburgers next door.  Not Chuck Schumer photo-op raw meat, either.  Walz, the "news" media insists, is the real deal, an Ordinary Joe, even more ordinary than Old Joe Biden.  A high school teacher!  A football coach!  A Marxist authoritarian!  Oh, scratch that last one; they won’t be admitting that one until later.  Nor is the establishment media talking about his friendships with Muslims who love Hamas.

 

The Washington Examiner reported Friday that Walz, "on at least five occasions as governor of Minnesota, hosted a Muslim cleric who celebrated Hamas's Oct. 7 attack last year on Israel and promoted a film popular among Neo-Nazis that glorifies Adolf Hitler."  The imam whom the Examiner had in mind was [...]

And the sheep are happy to go where the sheepdog directs them.

 

Trump not attending the GOP debates is not even remotely comparable to the Democrat party abandoning democratic principles to appoint the candidate the party elites wanted in 2020. Even without being at the debates, Trump was still elected as the Republican candidate by the democratic vote.

 

So which side still believes in those democratic principles? Certainly not the Democrats.
