Presumably I am missing something, but I can not see anything any normal person would find positive about Kamala. There is plenty of past to review.

The Dems had an opportunity to put someone forward vaguely competent. They decided to stick with DEI.

I can assure you that I feel the same way about Trump. It literally baffles me that almost half of this country could bring themselves to vote for this man.

You all had a chance in the primary to pick someone else and instead you pick the one person who could potentially lose to Harris/Biden.

Nothing to do with me.

But at least someone voted for Trump, he was not anointed.

No way would Trump have lost to Biden....period.  That is why he was kicked out of the race by the machine puppet masters.

She was on the primary ballot with Biden, it’s not like she came out of no where. Republicans are the ones that seem to be complaining. How many democrats have you heard complaining about this? Polls would suggest most dems are on board with the change.

I remember Kam in the 2020 debates and I remember how many delegates she got - 0.

Old Joe for good or bad got the votes as he did for 2024.

We will never know who would have been given the nod if there had been an open competition, I feel pretty sure it would not have been Kam.

You’re probably right. This is why all the republicans complaining about the process feels disingenuous, you all just wish Trump was still running against Biden. Yet many of you had no problem actually trying to disenfranchise democratic voters on January 6th.

I am not a Republican but from an independent perspective I would have thought Kam is a good opponent. Just a question of getting the uniformed to know what she is.

The "complaints" are about the hypocritical "defenders of Democracy".

We are all going to get another chance to vote in November. If there are democrats that are not ok with Harris, they will have the opportunity to vote for Trump if they think he is a better option.

They won't vote at all.  I think that is a likely scenario for all those rural Americans who see that Walz is a far leftist radical.

Definitely a possibility; I hope that’s not how it will go. Definitely feels like the ticket’s strategy is to win on “vibes”

I think a lot of people can get behind school lunches for everyone, but there are certainly other issues that won’t play as well.

As Nancy said there are people who will vote for a Glass of Water if there is a D on it.
