Consider this the wrap-up to what likely will be the final day of whatever honeymoon Kamala Harris has.  The Obamas literally phoned in an endorsement this morning, which means that unless Democrats dig up the corpse of FDR, the potential sugar highs from endorsements have come to an end.  Harris may get brief news-cycle boosts from her Veepstakes pick and at the convention, but this introductory week held the most real potential to change the race from the hole Joe Biden dug.

So when this writer stumbled across this thread of short, natural sound, micro-targeted Trump ads, it really was an eye-opening change of pace.

It's giving voters something to vote for -- not negative, not bombastic.  Just simple ads.

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, reportedly one of the the frontrunners to be Kamala Harris's vice presidential running mate, was accused of covering up sexual harassment in his office by another Democrat running for statewide office.

One of the challenges of defeating Kamala Harris is figuring out just what to slam her on.  There are so many powerful lines of attack to use against this leftist hack that it takes some consideration to figure out which is the most effective.  But already, some Republicans are trying to help leftists place some of the most potent attacks are being put off limits.  We're being told there are certain things we just can't say about her.  We're not supposed to mention that she’s a goofy weirdo with an evil laugh.  We're not supposed to mention she's an incompetent DEI hire.  And, of course, we're not supposed to talk about her sordid history of sexual ladder climbing.

If Democrats are smart, they'll space out the potential polling bumps available to them all the way to November, and they will wait a week or so to announce a VP for the Harris ticket.  If those bumps aren’t promising enough before convention, I would expect a replacement for Harris in an open convention.  [...]
