It Looks Like Kamala's Call with Democrat Donors Was a Disaster

 

We reported on Friday that Kamala Harris was going to have a conference call with big Democrat donors.  The meeting was put together on short notice.  However, at the time of the report, it was not clear what message she was going to deliver to them.

 

The donors who have largely funded the Biden-Harris campaign were so spooked by Biden's disastrous debate performance that they stopped writing checks and threatened to withhold donations unless Joe Biden was replaced.

Would Harris encourage them to calm down and unite behind Biden, or was another message going to be delivered?  Perhaps a coup?

An email from tech billionaire Reid Hoffman, a major donor to the Democratic Party, revealed that the meeting would address "urgent, emerging needs" and include the vice president and key voter outreach leaders.  Hoffman emphasized the importance of staying focused on protecting democracy amid the high stakes of the current political cycle.

Looks like the Democrat elite (mostly Obama supporters) and their primary electorate are in different places.  The MSM seems to always say the GOP is in disarray and sometimes that is true, but in this case it is the Democrats that are floundering.

 

As predicted, it seems that Old Corrupt Petulant Joe and Obama are not really very close.  Of course that might have something to do Obama convincing Biden not to run in 2016, but is probably rooted in Biden’s absolute racism.  Not really sure what level of narcissism is in Biden that thinks he would have won the Democrat Primary in 2016 as there was no way Hillary was going to step aside like the most of the candidates did in 2020.

Most of the polls I have seen show Trump in a landslide against Kamala.  I think she picks up a state in the EC when she picks a VP candidate.

Mark Kelly is polling as a better presidential candidate than Kamala Harris. The Democrat party needs to decide whether it can set aside its DEI VP pick in 2020, who got demolished in the primary debates by other Democrats, in favor of a candidate that can win. I’m not sure their fringe will let them.
