This site was started by Steve. Whose username is "Steve." He is, so far as I know, happy married to his wife. Before the pictures up top were changed, one of the photos was of them. There was also another user named "Andy" who was very involved in the site when it started, but I don't know what powers he had. Both Steve and Andy were American men with K-1 wives (Phillippines and the UK respectively, IIRC).

In 2005-ish, due to some issues about liability, it was decided that the members participating should have no technical control over the site and the tech team should have no involvement in the immigration process. At that time the Admin was Chief Wookie. Sometime in late 2005 or early 2006, Captain Ewok took over for Wookie. My understanding is that both of them are physically located somewhere in Asia.

The thing where some users have moderating powers is new and surprises me given that was the entire point of putting Wookie and then Cap'n Ewok in charge.
