AP form I-131 was updated 10/31/2022 - still apply without reason?

This is a very recent update and doesn't seem to align exactly with what people here are saying about applying for AP while adjusting status (I'm personally interested in the K-1 AOS case).  The relevant part of the instructions is below. It says that your reason for applying must be a personal or family emergency or bona fide business reasons. Further on in the instructions, it does state that you may attach a reason for the AP or proof that you filed I-485 (I'm told it is enough proof to file these concurrently). 

 

 

My question is, was the instruction page always like this? Should I leave date, expected length of trip and purpose of trip sections blank in the form itself? I know people had said previously that you can fill it out like this but I didn't find any forum posts since the date of the current form so I was a bit spooked. Thanks!
