Interesting. You didn’t receive a letter in the mail on green paper, with a light Statue of Liberty background, that said:

”Your conditional permanent resident status is extended for 24 months from the expiration date on your Form I-551, Permanent Resident Card (also known as a Green Card). During this extension. you are authorized to work and travel. This notice. presented with your expired Permanent Resident
Card. is evidence of your status and work authorization. (This extension and authorization for employment and travel does not apply to you if your conditional pernmanent resident status has been terminated.)”

The one i have, have a statue of liberty on it but its not a green paper. Its a receipt of payment i think DECEEE73-0400-4127-807E-A0C9A28A575F.thumb.jpeg.c427c547f4e35ad7d6754ed9295ed8c7.jpeg

Looks green to me. That’s an I-751 extension letter. If you make a black and white photo copy of it the difference in color hue should be apparent.

It's the original. Copies say I-797C unless it's your own copy of I-797

So can i use this for travel out of country as alternative of Gc?
