Have you travelled in the US with your spouse?

We haven't travelled very far yet... We have been to all of the surrounding states and have stayed in various hotels for weekends etc...

We are planning on going to California at some point though as this is where my fiance was born. I can't wait There are lots of places that I can't wait to see in America.

We would also like to go to Hawaii for our honeymoon

Yes, multiple trips to Canada, as well as weekend jaunts to Missouri, Texas, Arkansas.

We plan on some day going on a huge road trip to take pictures galore!

Our last driving trip was...

Phoenix to Las Vegas, on to Hoover Dam, in to Arizona - through parts of Route 66 and into Flagstaff passing through the Grand Canyon... Back down to Phoenix, then 'east' to Tucson, New Mexico and West Texas ending in Austin (then back to Phoenix). About 2000 miles in all... was a great way to see the country (and get a feeling of how truly large the US is).

Hubby and I moved from North Carolina to Nebraska about 3 months ago, thats all the travelling we've done so far 'sigh' he's been too busy with work.

No we haven't but only because my husband hasn't been here yet. When he does get here we will do some traveling.

Yep. Both times he came to visit, he/we flew in to O'Hare, so had to drive from Chicago to Indianapolis. My sister lives in Louisville, KY, so we have gone there. We also took a road trip last Christmas. We drove up through northern Indiana to the coast of western Michigan stopping in Saugatuck, Holland, and Grand Rapids. Then we went east. We drove straight through to London, ON. The next day we drove to Toronto, ON. Note that we had no plan, we just started driving and where we ended up was where we ended up.

That was the first time either one of us had ever been to Canada and yeah, we are going back to Toronto. What a great city. Dunno about living there, but it was a great visit. My husband was fairly impressed with Lake Michigan. He actually tasted the water because he had a hard time believing that something so huge could be fresh.

I think our next road trip will be out to WNY in the fall.

On his first trip over to the US to meet me, we flew down to Key West for a couple of days then drove up to Georgia (home base being Orlando, FL) for a few days to meet the family. Since he has moved over here for good, we drove back up to Georgia for the wedding and flew back down to Key West for the honeymoon... I'm sensing a pattern. lol

I'm looking forward to exploring other parts of the country with him, I just have to work up some more vacation time!

Not yet, but we plan to when he gets here. He loves to travel and I do too. I have so many plans that we'll never be able to get everywhere before we have kids.

The furthest we've got is about 400 miles from home - which didn't even take us out of the state! Florida is a very big place (shame, because I really wanted to travel around with my husband and see the sights, but it takes too long to get anywhere!)

The furthest we've got is about 400 miles from home - which didn't even take us out of the state! Florida is a very big place (shame, because I really wanted to travel around with my husband and see the sights, but it takes too long to get anywhere!)

North America is just a big place. I was just screwing around with Google Maps, planning a new trip for the Fall. On the map, the trip didn't look that big, but it was 1,876 miles round trip.
