Hey just so y'all know, I got my EAD card on January 6th and I still haven't received my SSN 😬 supposedly you get it a week or so after the EAD

I called the Social Security Office and they told me to wait cause according to them it actually takes 45 days to receive the SSN card. I'll keep you updated on how it goes, but if the 45 days past I will have to visit my local social security office.

Received it in the mail today, standalone card but I'm not really bothered, just happy to be able to work.

Hello! I too is from MI and submitted my AOS around September last year. Unfortunately, I didnt receive an early EAD approval and now thinking of requesting an expedite. Would you mind if I inquire from you what kind of proofs you submitted to be able to have an approval? Thank you for any response.

We sent a medical bill, emergency dental bill and a utility bill. Seems to be pure luck if you get approved or not, if it fails, try again.

I dont have any medical bills but perhaps, receipts from prescribed medications for both my spouse and I would suffice? Anyway, thank you for answering my inquiry. I'll probably try and just hope for the best.

Sent expedite evidence over 2 weeks ago and still waiting for a response...getting beyond ridiculous at this point

Have you tried asking Emma? Might cause something to be triggered, I think I ended up faxing about 7 times on my second expedite.

Yep, been asking every day , they said its with an officer and awaiting adjudication. Will probably call them today and find out if there is any way of flagging it up, I’m at day 92 since applying and considering I’ve requested an expedite as healthcare professional I fully qualify now as its been more than 90 days.

I've faxed 3 times and still no response yet, it has been over 7 days for me too (7 business days too). 😕

Hi! I contacted this morning the USCIS to expedite my EAD due to financial loss, after 3 hrs I received an email asking me to fax the proof. Im going to fax the proof tomorrow. Would that be okay if aside from faxing them can I also upload the proof in my uscis account to make sure that they received it or wait their response in my fax? Thank you.

I would wait, I am not sure that the people who review expedites have access to those uploads but as long as you include your coversheet and include the email, you should be good.

Rejected again this morning after 4 weeks of waiting, I don’t know what I am doing wrong? I am a licensed pharmacist in the UK, I have given my initial exams here to obtain my license, I have a valid offer of employment with the largest pharmacy chain as a Pharmacy Tech, I have not been working since January 2022, we have bills to pay as anyone else - why do I not qualify for an expedite? 98 days since application, 69 days since biometrics, how many more requests?!?!!!!!
