I'm hoping their bypassing your EAD and giving you a straight greencard.

That would be lovely, can't help but feel like one of those people who get lost in the system for months/years. Just being able to work would be huge, shouldn't be this difficult.

For anyone with a EAD receipt prefix of IOE09182, I am tracking daily approvals here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13PxV095Ev8yIvsVKRq4Qv04yc1SaIKtw9u0Lk5jwMKY/edit#gid=0

I wanted to see where the movement was each day at a more granular level that you get with https://www.casestatusext.com/forms/I-765/IOE-LB.

Seems like most movement is in the IOE091821* and IOE091822* buckets (I am IOE091824*) at the moment, with some outliers in the others (expedites perhaps?). I plan to update it a couple of times per day.

I have no plans for doing this for any other prefix.

What source are you using to track the cases? I was using casetracker app but its not showing anything

Essentially I check https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do from IOE0918200000 to IOE0918299999 and inspect the response you get back. It is essentially what sites like https://hilites.today and https://www.casestatusext.com do but I wanted to play with the data myself, plus they are a lot slower to update (they cover a much wider range).

Do you do this manually?

we received an rfe 2 weeks ago and we sent the documents last week. So its been a week since usps says received but their status still says request for rfe sent. Do you know how soon can they update the status? Should i try to reach out to them?

Haha thankfully not, I have a script to automate it.

Might take them a while for it to percolate through the system, not sure how long exactly. You can try but I'll assume you'll get the classic "wait".

Amazing!!! Congrats. Big step in the right direction. Check your AP too to see if they closed it. Guess Mondays are good days?

AP still says Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was Sent and in the EAD documents it is called I-765 C09 Standalone Approval so I am guessing not (did yours saying any different)? Either way, a happy day 🙂

They must have got sick of me faxing every day. 😬

Yea mine said it was a combo approval and gave Information on the AP. Which I didn't expect to get approved although it mostly talked about the EAD

Either way time to start working!! Do you have a job lined up?
