Just received my DQ email but the status in my CEAC file has not been updated. So I'm just hoping it's because it's a Friday and by Monday everything will be good. The email definitely says I've been DQ though. 12/16/2022 date.

Got email from NVC 20 minutes ago about the action on the case but nothing changed on CEAC.

We got the message about updated status of application but there are no changes 🤷‍♀️

My docs say submitted and js additional doc says submitted, but on the front page my husband and js docs say accepted and mine says submitted.

So looks like NVC is moving well ahead.  I hope those of you got some messages which you cannot interpret as DQ,  hopefully that will clear tonight or tomorrow.  Let's hope for the best.  Here we are as of now y..  hope to see few more approvals on Saturday the 17th.

Looking in the NVC CEAC portal my case now says "Your case is currently at: NVC." Did it always say that? I have a feeling that it said something else before, but not sure. Mean anything? 

 

Yes I am reading tea leaves at this point.

I've also got the DQ and status change email yesterday but no changes showing up on site (just checked dates and my submission date is actually 11/11).  With the dq email i'll just assume the ceac site just hasnt been getting updated on time  🙂

 

Side note, I uploaded additional docs under other- civil documents section 2 separate times and it hasnt fortunately put me to the end of the line from that date.  good luck to everybody else still waiting 👍

Received a dummy email on the 17th saying there's an update to the website. However no actual update on the website, so we sent an enquiry today.

Hi everybody! I've been watching this thread as I have 2 IR5 visa applications for my parents(Russia). We resubmitted for an RFE on November 15. Original date of submission July 28.

@Simplytex, you should go ahead and write the senator for your state and ask them to contact NVC. When our cases changed the embassy from Moscow to Warsaw, it's like the clock got reset, the cases were stuck. Only after the senator reached out they actually looked at the case. We got an RFE, but it was still progress.
