Just to confirm is everyone else's current status showing action required:submit requested documents still?  Does this actually change during the wait or is it the same until it actually gets looked at?

Until you get looked at . It shows submit required documents

It becomes "At NVC" only after they look at the documents.

Submitted 11/17,  joining the wait.

I am really confused by the NVC Case Tracker, where it says "Action Required: Submit Documents", and instructs to physically mail the documents to them. I haven't mailed them anything, should I?

No, you shouldn't mail anything. It's outdated writing.

It says "Action Required: Submit Documents" up until they DQ you. So long as you clicked that submit button, you're good.

Yes, I did submit all the documents online and hit "Submit".

I guess another question I have is if I am married filing jointly, do I have to submit a household member contract with my wife, even if my income alone is well above sufficient?

Thanks.

Is your wife the beneficiary? If yes, then no.

If you're filing for someone that is not your wife, they MIGHT ask you to submit it. You can wait for the RFE or submit it in advance. Sometimes they just like to see that the spouse is onboard.

Thank you for your response. I have already submitted all the documents, is it still possible to add an I-864A?

Thank you. I have uploaded two documents, I-864A and the Proof of Relationship between Sponsor and the Household Member (Marriage Certificate). I am not adding her as a joint sponsor, so haven't included her pay stubs or W2.

You should include her W2 because when they see that your joint sponsor’s income does not = total income on the tax transcript, they will issue a RFE.

We submitted everything today but 12 hours later, got message on CEAC said something like: they will not review until they received all required doc. Should I be worried? I'm pretty sure we submit all required docs and even add bunch of additional documents.
