Okay so re filling and printing everything again is the most viable option now I guess !!

What you mean part 2?!?

Look at I-485, page 3 under heading called Part 2 , what answer did you mark ??

Can you please answer this question by looking at the I-485 form….it is the Rejection Reason. What do you have listed?

Try a third time. Before you file, read

and understand before you start filling out forms.

Also, there are example forms in  https://www.visajourney.com/forms/adjustment-of-status/

We also got the form directly from the USCIS page so i don't know where to get the "newer version" then

When you printed the forms did bar codes show on the footer of each page?

As of 2022, the fee for most applicants is $1,140, plus $85 for the biometrics fee (fingerprinting). The base fee includes applications for a work permit (on Form I-765) and, in case you need to travel outside the U.S. before your application is approved, Advance Parole (on Form I-131).

Ooh! We sent $1,760 because we also saw it was $500 DLLs for another of the forms!!

I-485: 1225

I-130: 535

i attempted to copy paste from USCIS but lots got lost in the submission.

I suggest on your third attempt you include screen shots of the USCIS fees calculator output in the cover letter.

How to fill out forms. Answer easiest questions first,  Questions you know by heart. Print out form. Yellow highlight all questions, needing to be answered. Do this procedure 20 times. I did, it worked.

This is what I marked on pt 2. Application type or filling category.

I marked up the little box that said immediate relative of us citizen

We also got the form directly from the USCIS page so i don't know where to get the "newer version" then

Ok , now look at I-485 page 4 , #2 and see what you marked there? It is the question on 245(i) and should be “no”. ..perhaps you left it blank??

The $1,760 is good but they include “incorrect fee”  almost every time they reject , so don’t get stuck on that. If it makes you feel better , replace the money order with two personal checks ( $1,225 and $535 ) and if they cash your checks you will know case was accepted .

Do new forms, make sure all pages are there, most current revision date and if you use the  VJ Guide sent to u for each form, go over EVERY QUESTION on every page…….just give it another go.  KEEP a copy of everything you are sending.

Did they open your sealed I+693 ?

Good Luck
