My husband (us citizen) and i (not us citizen) got married on July after a year of dating and started getting the stuff needed for my adjustment of status to get a residence and be "legally" on the U.S. i have a tourist visa, but we already got rejected twice! And we don't understand what are we sending wrong in our package because the correction instructions they send on the 2nd rejection notice are super vague, we can't understand what we are doing wrong and we haven't been able to make an appointment directly in the USCIS, so much stress!!!

USCIS will not give you an appointment or take your call to review what errors you have made in your packet of forms….they will tell you to hire an attorney for legal advice.

You should have the following forms : I-130, I-130 A, I-485, I-765, I-131, I-864  , $$,  and supporting docs .

Likely you made a mistake on the I-485 ..but it’s important you check each form.

You can take a photo of the Rejection Notice for I-485, post here ,  if you want specific feedback …..

It helps to review the guide on VJ , perhaps another member can link it for u

This is what said on the rejection said, but all the information was there !!! And the package was returned with a bunch of orange pages that says missing page!

This Rejection Notice is for I-130 and if you look at that form , it says INFORMATION is missing ( country of beneficiary birth…and all the other listed items.
So look at the form ONE BY ONE ( line by line) while reading the instructions for the form and you will find you left many questions NOT answered…or blank.

Plus remember you have to upload the I-485 rejection.

Filing fee is not your problem

The I-765 says it is being returned because other applications are being returned, and then the “ incorrect fees “ is added.
But $1,760 is ok so skip that and review I-130 first ( look at rejection) and based on twice coming back ( including orange markers for missing pages…YOU NEED to re do ALL forms ..

They are insisting beneficiaries country of birth is either missing or illegible ( did you handwrite or use computer ? Did you use white out? …

Either way , no salvaging pages with 2 prior rejections…

Okay so re filling and printing everything again is the most viable option now I guess !!

What you mean part 2?!?

I recommend getting a lawyer.

May be a good idea.
OP, the rejection for I-485 also says you were using an outdated revision …
