Hi all,

It's been a while since I posted here. I am preparing my I-751 and just wanted to see if what I have below is enough or do you think it is too much?

• Copies of birth certificates for our 2 children

• Copy of our joint US tax return for the years 2005 and 2006

• Copy of a recent statement of our joint checking account at Washington Mutual

• Copy of our recent car insurance notice

• Copy of our Costco Club cards on a joint account

• Letter from my husband’s company of the designation of my life insurance to myself

• Three original letters written by U.S. citizen friends and family, attesting to our relationship and marriage

• Various photos of us together since our marriage in October 2004

• Copies of various greetings cards from friends and family since our marriage in 2004

• Copy of Registration Certificate for Mobile Home that we have purchased

• Photocopy of our Driver Licenses showing residency at same address

Let me know what you think. I wanna get this sent off in the next couple of days so that I beat the fee increase.

Thanks

Paul

Yep, looks good. I've seen people report approval without an interview when they sent in significantly less. It's a wee bit more than we sent in, but it doesn't look too "over the top".

There's no absolute guarantee against an interview, since they do a few for random quality control purposes regardless of how great your evidence is. But that list of evidence looks fine.

Looks good!

I would just make a suggestion to others getting ready to send their package (I realize it's probably too late for you)... with regard to the greeting cards, I think it's better to keep the envelopes addressed to both of you and send those rather than the cards...or send both of course. That's just my opinion and I'll probably get shot down for suggesting it, but I think cards would be easier to forge and the envelopes a little more difficult. However, you have a lot of other really good evidence and it shouldn't cause a problem, others gathering evidence might find it a useful tip....I hope so.

Hi,

The way I see it is that there are diferent types of agents, the ones who

  • cares about the lease or mortages,
  • cares so much about taxes reports,
  • who likes to see photos,
  • are tired of watching other poeple's photos,
  • care so much about finantial joints,
  • like big files
  • get suspicious about big files.

If you think you are sending too much stuff you may be sending evidence that will cover a bigger number of posibilities of agents criteria, and you only have the chance to anoy the type of agent who does not like to see big files (It can happen) but if they call you for interview because of that I guess it would be easier to prove your relationship.

Just my Opinion, good luck and have a spedy process..
