DQ to Interview Manila CR1

Hi guys, I got DQ Nov 3. I got advice that the Manila Embassy is willing to expedite so we've sent an email today.

My questions

1 - if in the occasion that we don't get expedite approval (or if they take a while to respond), how long will it take before I get an interview? Any recent cases?

2 - I keep seeing that once the case is 'READY' on CEAC, you can book your own interview on ustraveldocs/CGI. Is this just for expedited cases or for everyone whose case is READY?

Thank you :)

Those with non-expedited cases would get their interview schedule in an NVC email before or right around the time their CEAC case status turns "Ready".  If your case is expedited by USEM, you may book an interview appointment yourself when the case is "Ready".

Has to be expedited case to schedule in cgi. Manila stopped approving expedites for any reason on October 1st so unless you got a really good reason they might deny it. Hope it works out. Good luck
