Green cards for SB-1 returning residents not received

Hi everyone, I have seen several posts about green cards not arriving in the mail after renewal. Our situation is similar, but the green cards we are waiting for are not standard renewals but new ones issued after coming back to the US on SB-1 returning resident visa. Our family entered the US back in December 2021 on SB-1. We were told we would receive the new green cards in the mail, the immigration officer said they were backed up so it might be longer than the usual 1-2 months. But it has now been >10 months and still nothing. Does anyone know how to check on the status of this? The case number is one from the consulate where the SB-1 was processed, not a case number from a USCIS service center, so the USCIS case status website returns nothing. It seems we need to find out if the green cards were lost in the mail, or never mailed out to begin with. With InfoPass no longer available, should we try to get an appointment by calling the USCIS contact center?
