Awaiting Visa Interview Date

I have been documentarily qualified for more than a year and I am still waiting to get a visa interview date.. The NVC keep telling me to be patience, that they are working with the local embassy more than a year now...what do I do?

Unfortunately, you'll have to be patient and keep waiting. The pandemic has caused backlogs at the consulate.

Unfortunately I feel the same way I'm already DQ for over a year from Nigeria nothing has been changed from NVC it's getting frustrated

When were you dq'ed? The current wait time after being dq'ed is about 15 months

Do you have an expedite reason? You should consider sending a letter to NVC if you have one. That’s what we did! The wait is crazy, hang in there!

We got a response for the expedite request in 7days. Then another 6days followed and we got an appt date.

It's been 17 days since the senator office send an expedite request to the NVC but no response yet, do you think it's normal or should we contact them again?

17 days is a long time, the senator’s office should have gotten a response by now. If the answer to the senator’s office is still no, try again on your own. There’s no limit to how many times you can try, just make sure you attach proof of the issue - it helps.
