Awaiting Visa Interview Date

I have been documentarily qualified for more than a year and I am still waiting to get a visa interview date.. The NVC keep telling me to be patience, that they are working with the local embassy more than a year now...what do I do?

Unfortunately, you'll have to be patient and keep waiting. The pandemic has caused backlogs at the consulate.

When were you dq'ed? The current wait time after being dq'ed is about 15 months

17 days is a long time, the senator’s office should have gotten a response by now. If the answer to the senator’s office is still no, try again on your own. There’s no limit to how many times you can try, just make sure you attach proof of the issue - it helps.
