Hubby and I are filling out the AR-11 and I just have a question.

If not a Permanent Resident, my stay in the US expires on:

What do we put for that? The expiration date of his visa? The expiration date of his I-94 (last month)? Nothing because he's adjusting status?

2/28/07: Interview: approved! (Day 99)

4/15/07: Married, in a noreaster (Day 146)

6/20/07: AOS, EAD, and AP mailed

6/26/07: NOA1 (Day 6)

7/14/07: Biometrics (Day 24)

7/23/07: Recieved AOS RFE (dated 7/17) for W-2s, mailed them out the next day (Day 33)

7/27/07: RFE response received, processing resumed (Day 37)

8/14/07: AOS transferred to CSC (Day 45)

8/21/07: CSC received/is processing AOS (Day 52)

8/29/07: Welcome notice mailed! (Day 60)

8/31/07: Card production ordered! (Day 62)

9/11/07: Greencard in hand! (Day 73)

Note to self: lifting of conditions: May 25th, 2009

AOS (pending) doesn't fit in the online form. It only fits 10 characters (for MM/DD/YYYY). For "I am in the U.S. as a" I selected other, and then put K-1 fiance visa pending adjustment of status in the box below it where it asks you to specify. I'm just not sure about the "If not a Permanent Resident, my stay in the US expires on" part. He's not a permanent resident, but since his AOS is pending I don't think his stay here really expires, so...

It isn't a required field so I could just leave it blank. I was just wondering if that was the right thing to do, or if there's a date that I'm supposed to put there.

Eh, if it's not required, leave it blank. After you're done it will allow you to plug in your pending cases.

2007-04-23: NOA1 date (both)

2007-05-10: Biometrics appointment (both - Biometrics review)

2007-06-05: AOS interview letter date

2007-06-13: AOS interview letter received in mail

2007-07-03: EAD card production ordered

2007-07-07: EAD card received! (yay!)

2007-08-23: AOS interview (Documents / Interview review)

2007-08-23: Green card production ordered!!!

2007-08-24: Welcome notice mailed!

2007-08-27: Green card production ordered again... ?

2007-08-28: Welcome notice received!

2007-09-01: Green card received!

Done with USCIS until May 23, 2009!
