Hello everyone,

 

Regarding scanned documents. I am waiting for my police clearance from South Africa to arrive in Thailand. Currently I have a cellphone scan of it (basically a photo). Would it be ok to submit this, or would it be better to wait for the official document to arrive so I can scan that using an actual scanner?

If the scan clearly shows the stamp and when the cert was issued I would upload it.

you can also upload the scan now, then upload your own scan after it arrives (it won’t reset your waiting time at NVC) if you aren’t happy with the quality of the scan you received.

Awesome! Thanks for the reply, I just uploaded it. Now I just need to go scan my other docs at work today and then I can upload everything and hope for a speedy processing.
