I started this thread 2 years ago.

2 years later, still nothing from USCIS as to the status of my wife's Removal of Conditions.

She's still using the same old Green Card that expired almost 2 years ago.

Wondering if they've forgotten about us.

I-751s take 2-3 years nowadays. There's a reason everybody get 48 months extension letters. There's few options for her:

1) Apply for N-400 if eligible

2) Try reaching out to USCIS through senator

3) Sue USCIS for decision

4) Simply wait

NYC I-751  Nov. 2022 filer

Submitted my form November 4, 2022.

Form was received November 7, 2022.

Stayed on "Fingerprints Were Taken" since November 22, 2022.

693 days later (22 months since my last update) I got the update  just now "New Card is Being Produced" October 15, 2024

😀

It was so frustrating checking almost everyday.

Congrats! Many people get worried about status not being updated. Your case is a prime example of online status not being that important. USCIS handles the case whenever they get to it, with or without status updates leading to that.

If you use USPS Informed Delivery, watch for letter from Lee's Summit Production Facility. It shows tracking before USCIS posts tracking info in their status.

Anyone still waiting? Radio silence here, and Vermont received my filing on Nov 4th 2022. Last update was biometrics on Dec 9th 2022. Genuinely shocked by how slow it's moving! Gotta be the slowest bureaucracy in the world, haha.

I am not interested in becoming a citizen, at least at this point in time, so please do not suggest this, lol! I just want to receive my greencard!

WoM is an option.

Otherwise 3-4 years may be the new norm for I-751, considering 48 months extension letters

My receipt date is November 9, 2022 with the 48 month extension. According to the USCIS calculator, we are still within processing times and we cannot reach out until October 2026. At this point, we're considering applying for Naturalization.

Yes, this is the path of many with pending I-751.
