1-2 weeks is standard, but longer isn't unusual. Do you have informed delivery with USPS? And what date was the package actually delivered?

Hi, I filed my form i-751 on Nov 18 2022, and it arrived at the Phoenix PO box on the 21st. I still haven't received the form i-797 or had the payment process in my bank account. I was planning on visiting my family for New Years, and I can't leave the US without the NOA. Is anyone else experiencing delays on receiving the letter? It seems like most people that submitted in November already received their NOA. Also, does anyone know of a phone number for the USCIS that is not an automated voice?

Just received the NOA/Extension. Received Date - 11/09, Notice Date - 11/14. Hoping we're not going to fall into the biometrics black hole. Got some upcoming travel in Jan.

Over a month now since receipt date and no updates in relation to biometrics. Under normal circumstances I wouldn't be bothered, but we have international travel coming up in January.

Does anyone know if the service request strategy still (potentially) works? @Sarge2155 would be grateful if you could weigh in. I know you have experience with this.

Yes , but it's  hit and miss it worked for me and a few others, but some folks had to send two or more inquiries before they got any action. It can not hurt though and it does not cost anything.  Do it and one in!

Just got the "Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken" status. That's ... something, I guess. 🤷‍♀️

Also, just FYI: CaseTracker shows that a whole slew of Nebraska I-751s from around Thanksgiving just got a "Fingerprints were taken" status update this evening.

Hello. I have to send my I-751 package at end of December. I have a few questions:

1) What file/folder did you guys use to send in the package?

2) What is the best form of payment? I read some posts about CC not being the best option.

Best form of payment (subjectively) is personal check. Just make sure you maintain enough money there to cover the USCIS fees.

The downside of credit or debit card is that banks heavily rely on AI and other software systems to detect and block suspicious transactions autimatically. Since paying USCIS is not something you do often, it may be an unusual transaction that gets denied by bank.

The downside of cashiers check is you don't know when the money is used by USCIS, because it leaves your account immidiately when getting this check at the bank.

So personal check is the best for these reasons. You would know when money is taken by USCIS
