There are still a lot of questions to which we will never get the truth.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

It’s no wonder significant numbers of people believe they are being lied about complex events with broader  scope.

The discussion between the anchor and reporter asked the question: “what difference does it make?”  and these vapid heads said it doesn’t. 
 

It makes all the difference if DePape’s lawyer gets a crack at Pelosi on the stand.  The defense will argue that DePape was invited into Pelosi’s home. That is reasonable doubt. At that point most of the case falls apart.  The hammer attack can be written off like most violent encounters in SF between homeless folks and homed folks.  And even then, we don’t know what exactly happened after Pelosi voluntarily rejoined DePape where the alleged hammer attack allegedly commenced.  
 

It won’t surprise me if all charges are dropped in exchange for a deportation, as I think there might be things the Pelosi family doesn’t want public.  
 

2022 has not been a good year for the Pelosi family.

No, I actually have been really busy. We're in the process of buying a home, and I've been taking on more responsibility at work. I'm also halfway through writing a novel, I have a very young nephew to dote on, my best friend's dad (who was like a second father to me) died and I needed to be there for her and her family, and I've been trying to socialize a bit more. Quite a lot to do, and I haven't been posting very much at all because, well.... real life. :) I apologize for not devoting more hours to thinking about Paul Pelosi instead of, um, thinking about pretty much anything else! 

 

And Ban Hammer, I always appreciate dad jokes, even if I have to groan at them all. :D
