Hello,

We just received a K1-FTP a few minutes ago and are confused on what we should do next.

It lists a case number and that the approved petition was sent to the US Embassy we chose.

Do we  wait for something else, or do we do the DS-160?

We never got any “NVC receive” letter. We never got any letter or any type from them, only a K1_FTP email and welcome email.

Is there something I missed?

I looked at the flowchart, but my questions don’t seemed to be answered in that.

Is anyone willing to share insight or experience?

There's no welcome letter for K1 applicants. All you can get from NVC is your country specific case number. Check your countries sub forum for more information on what to expect and how you'll get contacted by the possible embassies.

Thank you all for the info. I kept expecting physical mail from the NVC because all of their FAQs point to some invoice that is mailed and we never got one and can’t currently pay the fee or schedule interview.
