No Friday thread yet???

Good morning, everyone! I'm a bit sleepy from our late night chat, so I'm sucking down the iced coffee.

I'm so excited we're getting two kittens today! I haven't seen them yet, but Wadi checked them out and is bringing them home tonight. They're a brother and sister, orange tabbies. I'll post pictures tomorrow hopefully. I'm so excited, I feel like a little girl. :D

Don't know if you're checking in today, Doodlebug, but bon voyage!!

Orange tabbies are the best! Let's think of names!

I woke up feeling like I was living yesterday in a Dali painting. Is it just me? :crying:

I've been thinking about names. One of my friends has always named her cats "Thank You" in various languages. There were Arigato, Grazie, Merci, etc. I thought that was cool. Maybe we could do some word in Arabic, Italian, whatever... But to find a good word to use....

Oh, and I suppose Wadi might want a say. But I'm ready for a fight.

I think that is a great idea.

maybe you need to see the personaility of each first...something in their eyes...to tell you a good name.

In Paris we had a cat named Minouch (mi-noosh.. algerian for "cat")... not very original I guess, but I thought it was a cute name.

I have a friend that does kinds of tea... there has been Oolong, Keemun, etc... I like that one too

I love Persians, they're beautiful. I used to have two when I was young. One of them would sleep in the litter box and poop on the floor. My favorite kind of cat is the Himalayan. A cross between a Siamese and a Persian. My first cat was a Himalayan. She was gorgeous! Her name was Cleopatra.

Go for it, Jackie...get yourself a beautiful kitty to spoil.

Aww when i was a kid we had himalayan cats!! we had two, their names were Fluff and Burt... then Fluff had babies so we called her Mommy Fluff and her kittens were named Gwen, Arthur, and Burt 2. They were GORGEOUS. Mommy Fluff was a dark grayish black color, both Burts were a deep chocolate brown, and Gwen and Arthur were both white blondes. They were great cats.
