I want to transfer my case from Lagos to another africa country embassy, does anyone have an idea of any Africa country that has no backlog I can transfer my case to?

Does anyone have an idea how long it will take to get an interview letter in Togo?

You can't shop around and look to transfer to a country with a shorter interview queue.

People who are legal, documented residents of other countries can request to interview there.

You CAN’T.

Other consulates will NOT accept a transfer for that reason.

You cannot request to transfer your case from one consulate to another in order to reduce the waiting time.   Full stop.

I am sorry if you don’t understand.

If you are a legal resident of Nigeria, that's where your interview will be.  The backlog is part of the process, nothing you can do about it.  Good luck, patience will be required.

What about the case of someone having dual citizenship? Can't the person transfer to another embassy ?

My dear, you can move to another country until you become legal resident of that country, with your residential permit you can request for your case to be move there.

In that case it’s possible. That would probably have been a good detail to include in your original post so members could give you more helpful answers. So you’re a citizen of Togo?

That isn’t even remotely close to what you were asking in the original post.

Ok. If you have residency permit in Togo or you are a dual citizen of Togo then contact the USEM in Togo for guidance on how to transfer your case.

If not, you can't transfer case by consulate shopping.

If not you can't transfer.

That's the point, but do you know, How long does it take for Togo embassy to Schedule for appointment?

Contact the consulate and they'll advice you on what to do. That's how it's done.

But to stress again, you must have citizenship or residency in Togo for the consulate to accommodate your request.
